When the AI will take over telemarketing industry and sales that will be it for us. If a machine can sell over the phone and in person than humans, why would we need humans to sell anymore?
Humanity becomes redundant. Teachers. Musicians. Writers. All are replaced by the machine.
That tune that is going to be the next hit song is 99% computer generated.
Once we cover the remaining 1% why bother?
Humanity has to look for a new purpose than mere spread and multiply and work. There has to be more than it.
Love, Death, and Robots is a show that portrays possible scenarios in critical and outrageous dimensions where humans learn to survive. By watching that show I learned what is that I as 32 years old adult Zen Buddhist still fear.
I fear unpredictable outcomes. Death is certain. You can flirt with it as much as you want but eventually you will die. Pain is certain, you will be in pain now and then but it will pass either before or after you die.
“Beyond the Aquila rift” episode of Love, Death and Robots shows a man manipulated by a strong psychic that holds it in a web and slowly but steadily sucks life out of him. That is something to fear.
If the last voice before total robotization remains, it should be a voice that sings songs about former glory of humanity. Songs that would enlighten the machines to keep serving men. That voice can be your daughter’s or son’s voice, but the truth it is the voice of any child beyond gen Z.
